Determine the maximum allowable spacing between the pumping

Crude oil flows through a level section of the Alaskan pipeline at a given rate in millions of barrels per day(1 barrel = 42 gallons). The pipe has an inside diameter of 48 inches; its roughness is equivalent to galvanized iron. The maximum allowable pressure is 1200 psi and the minimum pressure required to keep the dissolved gases in solution in the crude oil is 50 psi. Represent the oil to be equivalent to SAE 30 at 100 C with a density of 910 kg/m^3 and viscosity .01 N *s/m^2. Determine the maximum allowable spacing between the pumping stations as function of the flow rate of oil.
