Determine the isentropic turbine efficiency


(i) water vapor enters a turbine at p1= 5 bar, T1=320oC and exits at p2 = 1 bar. the work generated is measure as 250 KJ per kg of water vapor flowing. Determine the isentropic turbine efficiency.

(ii) steam enters a compressor at p1 = 6 bar, T1 = 300oC and exits at p2 = 10 bar. The work on the system is measured as 200KJ per Kg of water vapor flowing. Determine the isentropic turbine efficiency.
