Steam at 140 lbf/in2, 1000°F enters an insulated turbine operating at steady state with a mass flow rate of 3.24 lb/s and exits at 2 lbf/in2. KE and PE effects are negligible.

(a) Determine the maximum theoretical power (hp) that can be developed by the turbine and the corresponding exit temperature (°F)

(b) If the steam exits the turbine at 200°F, determine the isentropic turbine efficiency.
