Geology Critical Homework
The homework involves choosing a lab experiment from the lab kit and demonstrating the purpose, experimental methodology and the results of the lab experiment. This project will be completed in two-steps:
o First, you will prepare a Power Point presentation that includes all the dimensions of the rubric for the critical homework.
o Second you will add footnotes at the bottom of the presentation to replicate a PowerPoint presentation in front of the class.
THE LAB THAT I CHOSE IS THE FOLLOWING:
o Determine the elevations of features on a topographic map.
o Calculate the gradients of slopes represented on a topographic map.
o Create a topographic profile from a section of a USGS quadrangle map.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
