Design Personal Finance Management APP
Project :
Create a complete personal finance management APP. The app must allow the end user to manage spending vs. income on a monthly basis. Scan and Track paid bills, food, entertainment, maintenance expenses and all other expenses. Alert end user of overdrafts and an paid bills by due dates.
This project assignment includes 3 parts: Team Project
Part 1: Write up
For the selected project from week 1, you are to develop a new project proposal that is feasible, practical, and cost beneficial. By completing this assignment, you will recognize whether the project:
• sufficiently used the process of identifying and selecting systems development projects
• has been determining system requirements.
• outlines the design implications of the project.
Write a 5-6 page paper in which you:
1. Recommend a project portfolio management method for your selected project. Provide a rationale for your recommendation.
2. Create an outline of an executive summary that includes the type of problem and requirements.
3. Show the proposed system Data Flow Diagramming (DFD)
4. Determine the E-R for the proposed system
5. Provide the timeframe for delivering the solution to the project.
6. Proposed system Interfaces and Dialogues prototype including forms and reports.
7. Determine the key success criteria for your project. Provide a rationale to support your response.
8. Use at least three quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the professor's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
Part 2 : Presentation
You should develop 12 - 15 power point slides in which present your project idea and all deliverables. Please make sure to include all your team members names on the submission.
Part 3: Demo of your prototype
After the class presentation, you are expected to demo your prototype in front of class by taking us through a virtual tour of the final prototype. Make sure to package all your resources for the prototype and create a zipped folder and then attach to Moodle.
