Steam having a specific enthalpy of 160 kJ/kg and pressure of 1 kPa enters an adiabatic pump. Upon leaving the pump, the steam is at a pressure of 1200 kPa and has a specific enthalpy of 170 kJ/kg. No kinetic or potential energy changes occur through the pump. Determine

(a) the pump work, per kilogram of steam.

(b) the average density of steam, assuming the pump is reversible in nature.
