Determine the angular acceleration of the pulley


A horizontal force F = 250 N. is applied to a cable which is wrapped around the inner drum of a compound pulley being used to lift a block. The pulley has a mass of 20 kg., and its radius of gyration with respect to the axis of rotation is 160 mm. If the block has a mass of 10 kg., determine the angular acceleration of the pulley and the tension in the cable connected to the block. The inner radius of the pulley is 150mm and the outer radius is 250mm.
