Determine the action is ethical or unethical

Assignment:

Below is an example of the reference that needs to be inserted within the text and also at the bottom. Each question needs to be at least 150 words. Find articles as references like books or journals not just online websites. Answer questions 1 and 2 below and add a reference for each question.

Example: The term ethics is derived from a Greek word "Ethos". This refers to the terms custom or habits, and in general ethics can be defined as a system consisting of a set of moral principles. These moral principles drives the act of a common person and the way an individual act under certain circumstances, as approved by the society and the religion followed by that particular individual. The term ethics is a vast term used for a number of dilemmas. These dilemmas includes the way a person spends their life, responsibilities upon that particular individual, and the moral decisions which are to be made by that particular person in case of any situation faced. Ethics is a term that is determined by the society and not by a single individual.

This society basically decides what is right and what is wrong under certain circumstances and an individual should act in certain ways. According to Johnson (2015), ethical leaders are more likely to be more effective than non-ethical leaders. Followers are more enthused to do their jobs and fulfill their obligations when they are working with a leader that is caring and compassionate and is willing to help them in a time of need. As for the individuals everyone can have a different approach towards a similar condition thus ethics to be defined by the whole society.
