Steam enters one inlet of an adiabatic mixing chamber at 1.4MPa and 300 C. At the second inlet steam enters at 1.4MPa with a quality of 92 percent. The mass flow rates of the two streams are equal. Determine the temperature (or quality if a saturated mixture) of the water as it leaves the chamber at a pressure of 1.4MPa and the entropy generation per unit mass of steam exiting the chamber.
