A 2 inch OD stainless steel tube has 16 longitudinal fins around its surface. The fins are 1/16 inch thick and extend 1 inch from the outside surface of the tube. If the outside of the tube wall is at 250F, the surrounding air is at 80F, and the convection heat transfer coefficient is 8 btu/h.ft^2.F, determine the percent increase of heat transfer for the finned pip over that of unfinned pipe.
