Frequency of line stops F = 0.2; however, this is complicated by the fact that in 25% of the line stops, the part is damaged and must be removed from the line. In other words, 25% of the line stops operate according to the lower-bound approach, while 75% operate under the upper-bound approach. The average downtime for the lower bound stops = 10.0 min. and the average downtime for the upper bound stops = 8.0 min. Given these conditions, if the line operates for 16.0 hrs., determine the number of good parts produced and the number of parts removed from the line.
