A flanged coupling joins two pieces of 4-in diameter shaft. The .625" bolts are arranged in a single 8" diameter bolt circle. If the allowable shear stress in the shaft is 8000 psi and the allowable shear stress in the bolts is 10000 psi, determine the minimum number of bolts required so that the strength of the coupling equals or exceeds the shaft strength.
