The ball is thrown across the playing field from the height of h = 5 ft above ground at the angle of 45° to the horizontal at speed of 20 ft/s. It can be reduced from physical principles that path of ball is modeled by function

y= -(32/400)x^2+x+5

where x is distance in feet that ball has traveled horizontally.

1) Determine maximum height attained by ball.

2) Determine horizontal distance ball has traveled when it hits ground.
