Determine mass of air in cylinder

1) Density of lead is 11.34 g/cm3 and density of aluminum is 2.69 g/cm3. Determine radius of lead and aluminum spheres each having mass of 50 kg.

2) Eiffel Tower has the mass of 7.3 million kilograms and the height of 324 meters. Its base is square with the side length of 125 meters. Steel used to make Tower occupies the volume of 930 cubic meters. Air has the density of 1.225 kg per cubic meter. Assume Tower was contained in the cylinder. Determine mass of air in cylinder. Is this more or less than mass of Tower?

2) Marathon runners keep track of the speed by using units of pace = min- utes/mile.

(a) Lee has the speed of 16 ft/sec; find his pace?

(b) Allyson has the pace of 6 min/mile; find her speed?

(c) Adrienne and Dave are both running a race. Adrienne has the pace of 5.7 min/mile and Dave is running 10.3 mph. Find who is running faster?
