An adiabatic gas turbine receives a steady stream of air at 700 ?C and 1 MPa and exhausts it at 0.15 MPa. Velocities at the inlet and outlet are negligible and specific heats can be assumed constant. (A) If the process in the turbine is isentropic, determine the specific work produced (kJ/kg) (B) If the turbine work is 70% of the isentropic value, determine the increase in entropy (kJ/kg-K) between the inlet and the outlet.
