Homework: Critique Research
Length: 5 to 7 pages.
Select an article from this week's books and resources related to your topic of interest. Prepare a written assessment to address the following:
i. Indicate whether this approach was appropriate or effective. Provide examples to support your thoughts.
ii. Identify at least one potential threat to the internal validity of this study. Then, explain how you might work around this or improve upon this study with this specific issue in mind.
iii. Conclude with a discussion on the issue of external validity within the study. Explain whether this is a concern.
iv. Determine how you might work around this issue if you were to redo the study. Explain how you would prepare your conclusions.
Support your homework with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
