Determine darcy weisbach friction factor if flow is laminar

Flow and pressure measurements are used to estimate the friction factor for a pipeline. The length of the pipeline tested was 500 feet. At the upstream end, the elevation of the pipeline is 688 feet and the pressure is 50 psi. At the downstream end the elevation of the pipe line is 690 feet and the pressure is 47 psi. The pipeline is 1 foot in diameter. The measured flow rate is 4.0 cfs. The temperature of the water is 50 F. Determine the Darcy weisbach friction factor and if the flow is laminar or turbulent.
