Determine clamping force for each spring

A shaft rotating at 1440 rpm drives a coaxial shaft through a twin-plate disc clutch - i.e. there are 4 frictional interfaces in total. Each disc has a 250 mm outside diameter and a 170 mm inside diameter. The coefficient of friction is 0.4 and six springs provide a combined axial clamping force of 4 kN. Calculate the clutch's maximum torque capacity assuming it has the capability of maintaining 'uniform pressure' conditions under normal operation. Also, what is the power requirement to transmit this torque? It is hoped to set the torque transmission as close as possible to 500 Nm by utilizing different clamping springs. If the same number (six) of springs are used but 'uniform pressure' conditions cannot be guaranteed determine what the clamping force for each spring now needs to be.
