A Carnot heat pump (refrigerator) operates between -7 and 29 . It has an input power of 3.5kW. Determine (a) the coefficient of performance and (b) the heat supplied at 29 , in kJ/s. (c) If an actual heat pump requires 10 kW of power input for the same temperatures and same heat supplied from -7 , determine the actual COP and the actual heat rejected to the 29 reservoir, in kJ/s.
