Propaganda was a widely used tactic during the First World War. It was used to boost morale, and send a positive message to the homeland. In this discussion, you will design your own WWI propaganda poster or bumper sticker. You can draw, paint, or use computer graphics to complete this task. Your submission should be creative, unique with no grammatical or spelling errors. The topic, message or theme should be clearly identified and communicated. This is an opportunity for you to be creative and have fun!
Remember, total war meant that public backing was necessary; for this reason discouraging news was kept secret. Often the message of allied propaganda portrayed Germans as barbaric. Propaganda also was often used to boost morale and encourage enlistments.
