Design the slab showing clearly the load calculation based


Question 1) Write an abstract (200 words) of the mini project work explaining the task carried out, various EC2 an UK NA clauses, justification for the assumptions made in the design. summary of the structural analysis and design results obtained and conclusions drawn.

Question 2) Prepare a structural plan in Auto CAD with suitable scale showing the grid lines in the horizontal (x-direction) and vertical (Y-direction) including naming of the grids in alphabetical order horizontally (in x-direction from left to right) and by numerical numbers vertically (in y-direction from bottom to top) respectively. Name all different type of slabs to be designed in the building, location of columns and beams suitably as per standards.

Question 3) Design the slab showing clearly the load calculation based on assigned data against student number as per current Euro Code standards.

Question 4) Design the two span continuous beam assigned against student number as per current Euro Code Standards.

Question 5) Reinforcement detailing: Show all relevant reinforcement detailing sketches manually
a. For Slabs: - Top view and the longitudinal section
b. For Beams: - Longitudinal section and cross section of the beam at the mid span and near the support. Also indicate the curtailment details.

Question 6) Conclusions: A short, logical summing up of the key points from the design. Must conclude based on body of report and should not be a general conclusion. Finally conclude the report writing with your own opinion.

References/ Bibliography and appendices (if appropriate): Details of published sources of material referred to or quoted in the text (including any lecture notes and URL addresses of any websites used in CCE Harvard style format).
