Design a total compensation system


Problem: Students will create a fictional company located in Ontario, Canada and design a total compensation system specific to the needs of that company, including job descriptions, job evaluation methods, pay structures, benefits and pay for performance. Students will present a presentation on their recommended total compensation system.

Presentation/written submission should contain following

1. Company introduction: Place, nature of business, number of years in operation. External environment & internal environment

2. Organizational structure, departments.

3. Job Descriptions and job evaluation methods

4. Pay structures and total rewards and how you arrived on these pay structures

5. Performance management system.

Explain in detail and make sure pay structure and total rewards breakup is given in complete.
