Problem
The objective of the individual project is to get an overall understanding of various data communication technologies used to support business need. Student should be able to design a new data communication infra structure to meet the needs of a XYZ business, or study in an existing infrastructure of a specificorganization. For instance, you are hired as a network consultant to propose a new data communicationinfrastructure design for a small online web hosting company (ezHoustonHosting). The minimum requirement design includes as follow;
Hardware
• 800 hosting servers including 300 dedicated servers, and 500 virtual servers with hosting 2500shared hosting servers.
• 2 DNS servers.
• 2 Active Directory servers.
• 1 Printer server
• 1 File server
• 1 Database server
• 1 Backup server
• 1 Email server
• 1 Web server hosting the company website on the Internet
• 1 Intranet server
• Voice Over IP communication for less than 100 employees
• Guest and secure wireless communication
• Routers
• Switches
• Circuits
• And other necessary hardware.
