Your area might use different terminology for these jobs, but you should be able to find information for crime scene investigator/technicians and crime laboratory technicians or criminalists. Your local county website or job search sites should have examples.
Review the qualifications and duties of these careers and create a 6 to 8 slide PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following questions:
1. Identify the educational requirements for each type of job.
2. Describe the duties that professionals in these positions typically perform.
3. Explain the importance of backgrounds and credit histories for of candidates pursuing these positions.
4. Describe how each of these professionals might be expected to participate in a criminal trial, if at all.
