Part 1: Description of the Eight Types of Love

In a minimum of 250 words, briefly describe the eight types of love described by Sternberg (1988). Include a discussion of how the components of intimacy, passion, and commitment affect each type of love. Note that an outline format is appropriate for this section, but please write the information in your own words. Need Assignment Help?

Part 2: Create a Case Conceptualization

Create a case conceptualization of 250-500 words involving a fictitious couple experiencing one of the eight types of love (but avoid consummate love as there are no inherent problems with complete love). Include a description of the relationship and some characteristics the couple exhibits. Do not use any personal information or information related to current cases you are working on.

Part 3: Evidence-Based Treatment

In a minimum of 250 words, provide an evidence-based treatment from a specific theoretical perspective that may be appropriate for this couple. Explain why this would be an appropriate treatment for the couple.
