Paper on a personal interest:
Research a topic in education (charter school, special teach etc)that is interesting to you; you may focus on something you would like to learn how to do, or something you want to better understand. Write a paper describing the history of your interest(it can be of longstanding or newly discovered), the process you went through researching this and what you learned. 6 pages, either MLA or APA.
Your paper should include:
1. An explanation of how your interest developed over time, before this assignment, and what you would like to achieve by studying this topic.
2. What you were able to do so far
- The story of your research. Include description of obstacles you encountered, discoveries you made, etc.
- How you may extend your inquiry
- At least one interview with someone who deeply knows about the topic
At least one transcribed or quoted from and summarized, with someone who is an expert on your focus topic.
