Reform and Revivalism
Describe your own personal perspective of reform (Islah) and revivalism (ihya). In this essay, you must support and justify your outlook on the topic and mention how Islah /Ihya should begin and where it should start.
While writing about your position as a reformist or Ihyai (or both), you need to highlight the following: three things Muslims need to borrow from Europe; three dangerous ideas they need to avoid; three re-interpretations they need to do; three things/elements from their culture that they should review; three negative attitudes that should be removed; three tales/stories they need to criticize; three perceptions of the past they need to re-examine; and three future broad directions they should follow. Support your essay with examples.
