Beginning on page 74, Teaching with Intention: Using Word Pictures and through pages 81, describes young children's domains of development. For this assignment:
Choose an age any age, using all 5 domains

Relate children's abilities and developmental challenges at a particular age to teacher behaviors, planned activities, and classroom materials. In other words, how or what would a teacher's behavior, the activities, and classroom materials support and encourage developmentally challenged young children. For example: knowing the physical-motor development of a two year uses whole-body action, pushes, pulls, climb into, etc, how would you accommodate this child in your classroom if this child is in a wheelchair?
