Homework: Simple Research Report
Length: 1000 to 1500 words.
Submit in .docx format, with Chicago Manual Style citations, including author-date in text citations with page numbers, and a full bibliography at the end. Only scholarly citations will be accepted. The homework should be 1000 to 1500 words, not including the bibliography.
Students will choose a time and place in history, pre 1600. Suppose you are there, knowing everything you know today, and trying to do some science. Describe what you would do, the tools you would use, and how you would justify the value of your project to the people around you. Briefly describe each of the following, with citations where appropriate:
i. Time and Place
ii. Short Description of Proposed Project
iii. People's Beliefs About the Subject in that Time and Place
iv. Tools and Materials
v. Rough Research Plan
vi. Justification of Project to the Community.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
