- Watch two-hours of a children's television show.
- Describe what stereotypes are a focus on gender stereotypes. What are they? Where do they come from?
- Considering the program you watched, what examples of gender stereotypes did you witness? Were these stereotypes evenly focused on boys and girls, or did you notice a significant difference in the gender being stereotyped?
What effects would you predict these gender stereotypes can have on young viewers?
