Discussion: Public Policy and Advocacy
For this Discussion, you should select a public policy topic, trend, or initiative that is of interest to you. Please go to the Walden Library and locate two journal articles from the last 5 years that are associated with the topic you selected. You will use these articles and your text as supporting resources for this Discussion.
Post an overview of the public policy topic, trend, or initiative you selected. Then, describe how this benefits or hinders access to treatment, motivation for treatment, and relapse prevention for addiction. Then describe ways current policies or procedures could improve and your potential role as advocate and social change agent.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
