Project Assignment
For Project, you are going to develop a blue-print for the system you discussed in Project 1 when reviewing one of the following systems:
1. Marynet for student class registration
2. Marynetfor tuition bill management and payment
3. MU Alerts management system for students, faculty and staff
4. MU Online meal plans management system for students
5. MU Ballston Center Printing Stations for students' mobile devices
6. Other preferred system with my approval
Required:
A) Report
1. Briefly describe one problem that the system reviewedsolves
2. Describe the functional requirements to solve the problem in 1 above
3. Model the functional requirements using a Use case template and Use diagram model
4. Prepare a class diagram model and describe the classes, class attributes and methods as well the class associations.
5. Describe two scenarios and prepare a flow of events for your sequence diagrams.
6. Prepare sequence diagram models for the two scenarios in 5 above
7. Describe two scenarios and prepare a flow of eventsfor your activity diagrams
8. Prepare 2 activity diagram models for the scenarios in 6 above.
B) Presentation (exam)
Prepare a 5-minute PowerPoint presentation with the problem your project is addressing, a use-case diagram model, class diagram and 1 activity diagram model. ON presentation day, all slides must be pre-loaded on the podium desktop before presentations start.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
