Alzheimer's is more commonly understood, and there are other types of dementias as well. For the class, long-term alcohol consumption can wreak havoc on brain functioning and in some cases Korsakoff's Syndrome can develop. Describe this syndrome in terms of the cause, and consequences to the brain functioning in individuals.
