1. Read an opinion piece in your local newspaper, or a well-known newspaper you regularly read (like the Wall Street Journal or the Washington Post). Describe the ways that the author appeals to the fairness of the process - assuring notice and voice for those affected.
2. In what ways did the author assure the voices of the least-advantaged people were recognized?
3. How did the author present the balance between the people affected versus the organization/institution/group involved?
