Discussion Post: Personality
Using terms such as traits, states, and personality, develop your own definition of the word personality. What does personality mean to you?
Conduct research on the theories of personality and answer the following questions:
1) Find at least two scholarly journal articles that address one of the following theorists: Adler, Rogers, Jung, or Freud, or Yalom. Summarize the articles for your classmates.
2) Identify and describe a well-known person (a celeb, politician etc.) who you believe would easily fit some aspect of the theory you have chosen.
3) Describe the ways in which this person depicts the traits, states, characteristics, or personality types addressed in the theory.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
