Regardless of gender, do you think a person is required to give their ex spouse a lifestyle that they were accustomed to? I.E. Husband or wife never found a job during marriage but spouse had a job doing well and provides well, so spouse paid all bills, family stated in upscale private community, and spouse drove a luxury care... Should the providing spouse still have to provide this through spousal support/ alimony? Why or why not?

1. List the statutory factors considered by family court judges in evaluating the issue of alimony.
2. Identify and list the statutory factors for awarding alimony in your jurisdiction.
3. Identify and describe the various types of alimony.
4. Explain the circumstances that trigger the termination of alimony.
The article analysis is an essential aspect of graduate research. The purpose of this exercise is to prepare you to be informed consumers of research. In this assignment, you should be able to discuss the following components of a peer-reviewed journal article: Introduction, Review of Prior Research, Methodology, Findings, and Discussion.
The introduction should identify the scope and purpose of the research. In your analysis, you should describe why the reader should care about the research and how the present study contributes to the body of knowledge. The review of prior research, or literature review, should discuss what prior studies have found in their investigation of the topic at hand. Not only should you describe previous research, you should be able to identify what factors still need to be examined. The methods section should describe what steps were taken to collect the sample and analyze the data. The findings section should summarize the results of the analysis and whether these results are consistent with prior research. The discussion section should discuss the limitations of the research, as well as implications and suggestions for future research.
