Describe the strength through zias perspective

Discussion Post: Asian American Dream

The term "Asian American" is what social scientists describe as a hyphenated identity, including the adjective modifier "Asian" to the noun "American." While there are debates about the pros and cons of hyphenated identities, one consequences is that groups that have many cultural and ethnic differences can get subsumed under a monolithic title (e.g. "Asian American" subsuming Filipino, Hmong, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and many other peoples). In Zia's descriptions, the hyphenated title (or self-identified racial group, Asian American) is a strength. Describe this strength through Zia's perspective, giving at least two examples.

The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
