You are the first officer at the scene of an outdoor crime scene. You find the victim bleeding, but conscious with an apparent stab wound in her abdomen. There is a hunting knife lying near the victim. The victim's friends and several onlookers are standing nearby. You call for back-up and an ambulance and note that no one is fleeing the scene.
