"Across the World, Industrial History Repeats Itself" There are many parallels between the industrialization of the United States after Reconstruction and the modernization of the American workforce in the last twenty to thirty (20-30) years as it transitions from industry to a service-oriented economy. With your knowledge of current events and what you have studied in class, compare the two (2).
Please respond to the following: Compare the physical migration of workers during U.S. industrialization and present-day intellectual transition into a new type of workforce. Give at least two (2) examples of the role that technology played and plays in both scenarios. Based on the two (2) experiences described above, describe the roles citizens as consumers play in a country's desire for a fast-growing and yet sufficiently stable economy.
