Assignment task: Describe the role of equity and inclusion in sustainability and CSR work for organizations today. Equity and inclusion have a significant role in sustainability and CSR because each is about everyone being able to be at the table and having resources being equally available and distributed to everyone. In our text, they write that "Equity theory describes the idea that we all have the ability and propensity to determine whether resources are fairly distributed within a partnership, group, or society" (Hammond & Christensen, 2016). Equity and inclusion are ideas that allow organizations to give careful thought to human and civil rights and the culture, economy, and community in which they operate. These factors may be taken into account while designing equitable and inclusive policies.
