Freud described defense mechanisms that were intended to protect us. Complete the defense mechanism scale and answer the following questions:
a) Describe the results of the defense mechanisms scale.
b) Is the assessment accurate, and are there defense mechanisms that you tend to use?
c) How could these be helpful or harmful to you in the long term?
