This has been a course in business innovation. We have discussed products, processes, companies, successes, and failures. We had a great debate about the drivers of innovation - leadership, and culture. Now, we'll ask you to expand on an idea and turn it into an innovation.
Task
Innovations need to solve a problem. Think of five problems or hassles that you face every day. Then, decide on one that can best be solved with a smartphone app. In 2-3 pages:
1. Describe the problem or hassle
2. Name and introduce the smartphone app
3. Go into detail about how the app helps to address the problem or hassle.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
