I. How would you describe the personality of Jeff Skilling in terms of the Big Five Personality Traits, core self-evaluation, proactive personality, and the dark triad?
II. Did Skilling fit his job in terms of John Holland's person-job fit theory? What type was he and what type did the job require? If he did fit, why did he fail?
III. In terms of organizational situation strength, how would you describe the situation at Enron as faced by Skilling and Fastow after the failure of the Indian Dahbol plant, the failure of Enron Energy Services, and the failure of the Lagos energy deal behind the Nigerian barges? What kind of traits did the situation activate? Was the outcome inevitable?
IV. Some signs of anti-social personality disorder and psychopathy are lack of empathy and remorse, inability to distinguish right and wrong, manipulating or hurting others, and disregard for safety and responsibility. Was there evidence that Lay, Skilling, Pai, and Fastow were psychopaths or could be diagnosed as having anti-social personalities? Give some specific evidence from the film.
