For this homework, you will create project goals and scope, the first of the key components of a Project Management Plan, by identifying a problem in your community, an issue in a healthcare organization you currently work for or are affiliated with, or select a project topic from case studies from the Institute for Health Improvement.
Be sure to address the following:
a) Provide a brief background of the problem
b) Offer the rationale for choosing the topic or case study
c) Describe the need to apply a project management approach to solve the problem
d) Discuss the pros and cons of applying this project management approach to this problem, and
e) Describe the project goals and scope
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
