Jane Austen: Love and Friendship: A Novel in a Series of Letters
• Narrative Theory: "Narrative theory starts from the assumption that narrative is a basic human strategy for coming to terms with fundamental elements of our experience, such as time, process, and change, and it proceeds from this assumption to study the distinctive nature of narrative and its various structures, elements, uses, and effects" (OSU Project Narrative)
• Objective: Provide a paragraph or more for the following (can be in bullet point form)
• Plot: What is happening in the story (give me a rundown of basic plot elements)
• Character: List and describe the main characters of the story (summarize who they are, what's noteworthy about them)
• Narrator: Describe the narrator, give me background information, and discuss whether the narrator is reliable or not (can we trust the information they are giving us)
• Setting: Detail the different settings, give background information on the places and locations of the story, etc. (which locations are especially important)
