Questions:
1. Which artist/s or group/s are named as the performers on the track? Who are they, where are they from, and what genre/s of music do they commonly work in?
2. Are there any artists present (visibly or audibly) who are not named as performers in the video credits? Does this song use sampling? If so, whose work is being sampled, where are they from, and what genres do they commonly work on?
3. Describe the most musically notable aspects of the video. Using terms from class, describe the instruments, vocal timbre, tempo, melody, rhythm, and/or meter.
4. Describe the visual aspects of the video - what is being represented? Why? Are there stereotypes that are being reinforced or challenged? What cultures or subcultures are being represented, how, and why?
5. Describe how the sound of the video interacts with the visual aspects of the video. Are the images in sync/entrained with the music? Is the music presented diagetically or not? Do the sounds provide subtext, irony, or sarcastic inflection to the images in the video? Do they amplify them? Describe how.
