Describe the major absorption bands in the IR spectrum.
1.On the IR spectrum of your product, label all the major absorption bands and indicate the bonds responsible for those peaks which prove you have synthesized isopentyl acetate and that it is an ester.
2.Indicate whether your spectrum more closely resembles that of the pure isopentyl acetate or isopentyl alcohol by indicating the presence/absence of major absorption bands (focus on the functional groups) from each in your IR spectrum.
