Provide an approximate 1200-word overview and explanation of the important concepts in the readings. Assume that you are writing for an uninformed reader that knows nothing about the topic and has not read what you read. Provide an introduction that gives the background of the resource you're reviewing, so the reader will understand what they're reading and why. Consider the following topics for inclusion in this discussion:
- Describe the King County climate change response plan
- What are the goals of the program?
- What resources are being made available to citizens to enlist their help?
- What metrics are being tracked to determine progress?
Additionally, consider your community. What concepts from the King County plan could be used to help your own community mitigate and adapt to climate change? Provide a Recommendation section that illustrates what your community could learn from King County.
