You will research the differences between LAN, MAN and WAN and describe the implications of implementing each form of internet working. Your paper should address the following points:
- General differences in operation and configuration of LANs, MANs, and WANs,
- Cost differences between LANs, MANs, and WANs,
- Security issues within each network form,
- Ownership and control of each network form,
- How each network architecture (LAN, MAN, WAN, and WLAN (Wireless LAN)) is used to support organizational effectiveness based on either an example from the literature or an interview with a network manager.
