You are on patrol you make a traffic stop. The speed limit is 25 mph. You run the plates, nothing came back. The person explains he know he was speeding, he said if hes late for work he will get fired. Based on what I've learned so far my gut reaction is to give the driver a citation for the full amount. My decision after futher investigation is to give the driver a citation for speeding in a school zone but school was out but it was still in a school after a 3rd interview with the driver and finding out that previously speeding citations, previous criminal record, location got stop was in a school zone. And the driver was doing 3030mph in a 2525mph.
